This MVP is designed so its compatibility, daily vibe, tarot, and share-card generation can run locally in your browser. The initial version does not require an account and does not intentionally send the names, birthdays, questions, or readings you enter to a VibeCheck server.
Information processed in your browser
Names or nicknames, birthdays, zodiac selections, tarot questions, and generated readings may be processed locally by JavaScript in your browser to produce the experience you requested. Closing or refreshing the page may remove that information unless your browser independently retains form values or cached files.
Hosting and basic technical logs
The hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security information needed to deliver and protect the site. If privacy-respecting analytics are enabled later, this notice should be updated before launch to describe them accurately.
Payments
Payments are not enabled in the initial MVP. If premium checkout is added, payment information should be handled by the configured payment processor rather than stored directly by VibeCheck. This policy must be updated with the processor and data flow before paid features go live.
Sharing
When you choose to share or download a result card, you control where that information goes. Do not enter another person's sensitive information into VibeCheck if you do not have a reasonable basis to use it.
Children
The MVP is not intended for children under 13. A final production launch should add any age-gating or jurisdiction-specific protections required by the intended audience and distribution channels.
Changes before launch
This is an MVP privacy-policy starter, not legal advice. Before commercial launch, replace placeholder contact details, confirm the actual hosting/analytics/payment stack, and review the policy against the jurisdictions where the service is offered.
